5 Things I learned: Video #2

There are thing sI really liked about this video. One thing is that I really loved how they made the titles for the students interview. It looked very proffesional and made the scene look very nice. I want to use it for next video to make our video look proffesional and clean. The second thing that I liked were the transitions from scene to scene. It made the video look very different and change it up a little bit. I want to use this in my next video to give it more of a different setting and make it more interesting. It also looks very proffesional. The third thing I really want to use in my next video is the voice over. It makes the sound quality sound so neat, clear and proffesional. I really like it and I want to learn how to do it so that I can show others too. The forth thing I really enjoyed watching was the scenes they took of different groups of people at lunch. It brought the audience to see the everyday life of a student

5 Things I learned: Video #1

In this video, I really acknowledge how they used different real-life settings at their house. It really brought a real image and situation to me. This is one thing I would definatley use later in other videos because it brings a different environment from school to home. Another thing I really admired was the music. They put the videos in the right moments to prove their point. The sounds made the video humorous when it was supposed to be and then the different selection of sound made it serious. This is another feature I want to use next time becuase it adds a new feel to the video and gives you an idea to how to react at certain points. I also love how they used students to have their point of view about cyberbulling. It completely brought the message across and gave the young audience a chance to relate to what they were saying. I want to use this next time because it adds a different feature and image then seeing a staff member participating with their thoughts. The next thing I want to use for next time is how they used really used their school resources to prove their point and bring a serious feel to serious parts of the video. The last thing I really want to implement in my video for next time are the camera angles you used. They also brought different feels to the video when it's feels shifted from humorous to serious.

Sexting Today: Final Draft

Reflection:
I'm very proud of how we used some acting clips in our video. Instead of just giving a voice over or just a title screen, we gave them a visual of real life events that can happen. I was also very proud that we used music in our video. It gives it more of an edge and hook to catch the viewers attention. I think it's always good to use some music in videos. Some comments I found very useful were the ones from Kayla and Alicia's. Kayla added alot of good feedback we got on Ms. Motts interview and how it had a really good camera angle on her. Alicia gave us some other good feedback on how it would be better if we turned up the volume. That came handy because we realized that it was necessary to raise it up a notch. Some changes we made were changing the sequence of scenes and switching them in a better order, raising the volume, and cutting out the scene with denise lying on the ground. These changes made our video alot better then how it was because we got rid of all the air holes our video had. Some other changes I would make to my video would be our volume. When we were editing the volume our video sound was still low so it bearly changed anything. If I would have known better, I would have told the speaker of our video to speak louder so that we can hear her. I realized throughout this process, that it's very time consuming. You really need to be dedicated to a project like this because if you not, who will? I also learned that it's very important that you keep on track with you tasks and have your group be on task. It's really hard if one of them isn't. I really do think we did a good job on this project and I'm very proud of our work and effort.

Group 3 Sexting Today Rough Draft

Relfection:

I found alot of suggestions from all the people who commented our video to be very helpful. One suggestion that I found to be one of the ones that kept opping up was the volume. I agree with having the volume a little more higher and more clear. I feel like we should just adjust the volumes so that they can beat the same volume. I also thought we should also end the concluding scene with more of a pull and end it smoothly instead of having a random picture. The last suggestion I thought was very important was the having maybe some picture being shown with the interviews so everyone can see more of a variety of things instead of just seeing the person speak.

Titles Template

This is an example of what a video with a title together looks like. This title can be used to give the viewer information of what is going on. It's kind of like the scores on the bottom on the screen when football is on the t.v for example.
